Tom Stallone

Tom is the consummate Federal Sales and Business Development leader. He is an industry expert in Federal Contracting. He is the managing partner of TapSEC Consulting. TapSEC, is a Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned Small-Business (SDVOSB)) which facilitates the delivery of products and services for multiple technologies (land mobile radio, security, telephony, network management, and audio-visual) to both government and commercial clients. He has delivered more than $4.5 Billion in sales and over $418 Million in revenue to multiple clients. He currently represents Cayuse an Alaskan Native Tribally owned 8a. He has been a Vice President of multiple Federal Sales organizations (Commdex, LLC and Jacobs Telecom Inc (JTI), VSE Corporation, Ventraq Corporation and a Division Manager for Sherikon/Anteon(now part of GDIT), and for Advanced Systems Technologies.
Tom served in the United States Navy on active duty as a Yeoman First Class (Submarines)/Personnel Officer on Trident Fleet Ballistic Submarines and as the Flag Writer to the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Submarine Warfare. He is involved with several community organizations. Tom has twice served as President of the Lido Civic Club of Washington, DC and currently serves as Chairman of the Membership Committee. His extended family has been members of Lido for more than 60 years. Tom is a regional Vice President of the National Italian American Foundation and participated in it’s councils and events for over 30 years. Along with his family, he has helped raise funds for multiple charitable organizations including The Aleethia Foundation, The Washington’s Children’s National Medical Center, Bear Your Heart for Children’s Hospital, and he is a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus and belongs to several veteran organizations
Originally from Franklin, Pennsylvania, Mr. Stallone graduated from the Catholic University of America with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and has completed post graduate work at George Washington University. He also achieved the coveted rank of Eagle Scout in 1976. His hobbies include travel, gardening, and history. Tom strongly supports many veterans’ organizations and donates many hours each month to mentoring service-disabled veteran and other small businesses. Tom was married to Phyllis Urciolo Stallone for 22 years and he has two children Phillie Marie and (a Teacher in Montgomery County) and Thomas (TJ) Jr. (who is involved with the federal technology sales in North Carolina). He resides in Bethesda, Maryland.
